The doom/gloom over the BBB has kept its negative impact to the direct, obvious, but limited categories, instead of all the downstream negative effects.

Arguing rhetorically this way does concede the Overton Window of our values, where we argue about econ instead of making sure that people don't die.

And realistically I'm not actually sure these convince people, although caring for people hasn't either.

Medicaid cuts? You're no longer funding hardworking doctors and long term care facilities, decimating massive numbers of jobs.

Green energy cuts? You're directly increasing the price of electricity, and also killing a whole sector again.

Child tax credit? Parents will have fewer kids, which is bad

Here in America, we have decided to replicate that but all in one show with Dropout's Game Changer.

To the extent they even have beliefs, they believe all the crises we have seen have been caused by "the woke DEI left deep state". Ergo, dismantle the opposition, and the crises will go away.

Obviously it's super crazy awesome to have an antibody treatment, imagining it being over the counter, even, if they were able to get the chance to perfect and mass produce it.

But if this could be applied to vaccines, I'd love to solve these viruses entirely.

It seems important to say that "own" here means owning the platforms, imho. The "left"/"liberals" own the mindshare of the content itself. But we borrow the platforms from capital. And it's on them if we can use the platforms. And they can inject what they want into it.
