I like that the 24 matches outside one’s division allows for a way more balanced schedule. That’s been a longtime coming. The calendar switch? Feels like a ‘grass is always greener’ moment.

Product on the field doesn’t improve if teams don’t get/keep butts in seats. Will fans wait it out in the cold and wet weather while teams (optimistically) improve their rosters?
