I tried drying some basil from my garden in the microwave at 30 second intervals. It worked pretty well, and my kitchen smelled amazing! 🌱

My mom and her kitty, Ms. Katie Purry, is visiting with us for the holidays. Katie has decided that every shoe in the house now belongs to her.

It's still pretty warm here in Central Florida so I've started some seeds indoors. Giant Southern collards, Turnips (for the greens), Southern curled mustards, and Chives. It's my first time growing these from seed, so wish me luck! #gardening #burbsteading #homesteading #growingveggies
