On carpet, now canvas, stretched on the floor
With silvery lines of an abstract landscape

Overnight artist, you already know
From signature paint on board, tile, and rug
Their work controversial in every show
Not everyone’s favourite - common garden slug

Beholders differ defining beauty
Some will see artist, where others see pest
Pleasing everyone is no one’s duty
Artists have fans and can ignore the rest

Don’t fret how your work will be judged over time
Some will see threads of light, others just slime

The Scottish Parliament just passed a Bill introduced by the Scottish Greens, which will allow them once more!

This will keep rents affordable and offer safety and stability to renters. 🙌
