Because realistically wealth wise, the majority of people (in America, in the world) are closer to being poor or homeless than they are to become a billionaire. It's stolen art because AI models are very often trained on art and imagery without artist's permission. There are multiple lawsuits against some of the largest companies for training their models on copyright content, without permission.
