Because realistically wealth wise, the majority of people (in America, in the world) are closer to being poor or homeless than they are to become a billionaire. Working people, or the proletariat, make their living by working. The bourgeoisie (wealthy) make their living solely via exploiting labor.

If they have no artistic skill they should learn and practice like every other artist ever.

If they don't want to do that, they can post a "skillless" beginners comic. No harm in that.

Or they could commission a real artist to make something if they won't or can't do art at all. So many options.

It's stolen art because AI models are very often trained on art and imagery without artist's permission. There are multiple lawsuits against some of the largest companies for training their models on copyright content, without permission.
