Very thoughtful post with thorough cultural context. I’ve definitely had Samhain described to me as the 3rd harvest with the slaughter of animals. Personally I resonate with Autumn Equinox as that tipping balance into the dark of the year, apart from, yet also part of, our agricultural cycle.

Yes yes & yum. My facial skin does not tolerate any foamy cleansers ever anymore. The closest I get is the saponins in some fresh homemade aloe gel during the hot days. Otherwise it’s oil cleansing for me. 😊 As a massage therapist & esthi, there’s no such thing as a slap’n’dash. 💗😁What is MH?

I had some sunflower oil in the kitchen, so I used that as my base & took a picture of the plain sunflower oil so I could compare it to the other oil infusions. I soaked 5grams MM root in 50mL oil & same for leaves. After 8 weeks, I compared the different oils as you see above & in the alt text👇🏽

Hahaha, love it. Sometimes I connect better through dreams so I asked MM to visit & tell me whether an oil infusion could have benefit because traditionally MM infusions are all about the water soluble parts. The dream could definitely be a blog post yet my impression was that oil could be helpful👇🏽
