Can someone in Congress bring forth a vote to remove the disability that the Colorado court already demonstrated? And then, if both houses cannot get 2/3 vote to remove the disability wouldn't that prevent him from holding office?

It is true that you can't literally listen without your ears, but you are failing to acknowledge that words also have figurative meaning. So, you can't listen to me speak these words, but you could try to listen, figuratively, to what I am trying to say.

So many people are not listening to the argument about why audiobooks count as reading. Maybe because they think that listening is something you can only do with your ears.

Language is not a science. It evolves. Linguistics is a science, though, and linguistically, reading and listening are the same type of word. Also, words have different meanings depending on context. You could listen to my message, even if you are not using your ears to read it.
