My job is to help you insure the things most important to you - your family, your income, and your people.
After-hours, my furry family members are my and my wife's pride and joy.
Hiking and cycling take up some weekend time, and maybe some weekdays :)
You could always go volunteer with a local campaign. You'd meet a lot of people close to the candidate and have a good chance to learn about the campaign platform right at the source.

Even if they run Satan himself, you better throw every ounce of support and promotion behind him. If you don't you're in for more of what you've got.

No, if you don't support any Democratic candidate they throw at you, you end up with Trump. Haven't you guys figured that shit out yet?!

I'm in utter disbelief that the US's national and international policy is dictated by your president's social media posts.

That's a little reassuring. It's just so very real and scary the way they're going.

They've been buying guided missiles for ICE, and 30 armoured personnel carriers. These are just two purchases we know about. I'm afraid to learn what war readiness he's provided his private armed attack force. They'll be hard to stop.

Fun Fact- he has a star on the Hollywood walk of fame and someone was cited last week for urinating on it. Now that the secret is out, I think the municipality will need a deeper curb-and-gutter around it!

How about talking to some congregation members and pastors. Churches get their money from their congregation's offerings. Church attendance is dropping. Most places of worship I know of are quite modest. They will help, but they are not rich. And you'll need staff at night, and meals. Who funds?

All of them...Hegseth, Noem, Bondi, & Kennedy. None of them fear (or even respect) congress because they know "the fix is in". No one can remove them. They're doing what they're told to do. The US is completely screwed.

I think there are enough other reasons a person might cross the floor without accusing them of bribery. A leadership review in January will likely reveal some of them. I reject the original premise of your argument, so therefore reject your argument.

Tell me you're from Eastern Canada without telling me you're from Eastern Canada. "Keep Northern BC afloat"? Hahahahahaha! This is the resource capital of BC. Try again.

No, it's called not participating in libelous activities or spreading conspiracy theory nonsense. Those are activities I avoid. I think political discourse in the country would improve greatly if we avoided both of those things.

That's your point of view, I guess, and you're welcome to it. I disagree. I still say a high-speed rail line between Ontario and Quebec is a benefit for Ontario and Quebec, and attempts to create national patriotic pride over its construction isn't having the effect the PM thinks it is.
December 13, 2025 at 7:10 PM
I, respectfully, disagree. A strong Ontario and Quebec are good for Ontario and Quebec.

You're the one making unfounded, unsupported accusations against two sitting members of the House. If you have information that proves misconduct, it would be appropriate for you to provide it to the authorities so that they can take action.

No one announces "a brand new ferry for Canada" when a new investment is made in the BC Ferry system. And btw, I'm not really excited about my BC tax dollars going to fund a ferry system I'll never use, either. Build whatever you want, but don't expect me to get excited about it.
December 13, 2025 at 6:27 PM
There's no "whataboutism" going on here. Eastern Canada wants a rail line. Great! Build one. Just don't expect Western Canada to cheer and line up to throw money at it. A rail line between Ontario and Quebec is not a benefit for Canada. It's a benefit for Quebec and Ontario. Call it what it is.

If you have tangible proof that bribery is occurring, it is imperative that you assist CSIS and the RCMP with bringing charges against the offenders. If not, you are committing liable and do not have the same protections that a member of the House enjoys. Don't repeat conspiracy theory nonsense.

Congress has so little authority that someone called before them can get up and leave whenever they want, can challenge the questioner without answering, and can openly call for its members to be fired during a hearing. I'd say you folks need some serious political reform.
