At least Bruno carried the ball upfield on that last run. We’ve not shown much ability to pass up the pitch. Perhaps Ramsey helps that.

If only Elanga was what we thought we were buying.

They are both very good, but so is our guy. Hopefully 3 points tomorrow. That’s all I care about.

Good things happen when the ball is played to Woltemade’s feet. More of that please and thank you.

This game will rip your heart out and laugh in your face at times.

Luke, well written as always. Sandro is an easy player to support, both for the way he plays and also his humanity. Long may he ply his trade on Tyneside.

I can see what the fuss is about with 27. Good movement, and obviously good with his feet.

If, in a roundabout way, what you are saying is that the new CEO and DOF should sort out how these decisions get made, I’m with you. Time will tell.

I read this thread and kept wondering how long it would go. Chris you have the patience of a saint.

Blaming the club & and avoiding all responsibility for the situation are terrible choices.

If I were advising him, this is what I would have suggested he do: first, simply state that he wants to leave, and don’t make excuses as to why. Second state that he’ll show up to work, but be clear that he wants the move. Finally, be clear he’ll say no more going forward.

After watching the Community Shield this weekend, I would slowly back away from Isak using this narrative and buy a few defenders. This NUFC won’t play ball narrative allows them to save face.

I’m of the age where the Bears were closer to Liverpool when I was a kid than whatever they are now. I live in the Chicago area myself and have to keep my fandom quiet among the neighbors.

Ravens are a good organization as well. You could do worse

As someone who grew up in that area, I see a lot of similarities between GB and the NE. Good hard working people who love their club and who could care less what the rest of the country thinks about their town. It’s part of the reason I ended up a NUFC supporter so many years ago.
