Not my point. Habs are not a Stamkos away from contending. Not worth giving up Engstroms and Becks and more for a 2 year bandaid. That would be so Bergevinesque!

Right. The reality is the rebuild may be over from a management standpoint, but those kids need to grow still. And TBH, the goalie that will lead them just got called up. So patience everybody. Getting there.

Put the search for a 2nd line center on hold. Habs are going nowhere this season with that kind of goaltending. Might as well keep your trade chips for later.

Exactement, je ne pourrais être plus d'accord. En cette ère de plafond salarial, ce sont les mauvais contrats aux joueurs de soutien qui font le plus mal aux équipes. Sans parler du fait que ça enlève quelque peu cette ''urgence'' dans leur jeu.

I agree. But I also think Kaiden Guhle makes this team so much better. He gives Hutson a legit partner, while pushing Struble and Carrier down the ladder. I’d be shocked if they still give up that many goals when he returns.

Of course, but injuries are becoming a factor. Guhle´s return should help tremendously, and pushing Struble and Carrier down the ladder too.

Great read. Awesome lineup coming up shortly and you didn’t even touch the D group and goaltending! Add Reinbacher and Fowler to the young core. Great time to be a Habs fan!
