Neither did I, Tod, but then I got to thinking: *Why* would Tucker be so critical of Republican war hawks like Cruz?

Then *aha* ... he's Putin's US asset and Putin is against their involvement so of course he'd be critical.

My first Gay.o.t.Day viewing, @dgcomedy.bsky.social ! I've heard you and Allison talking about your series since the start of Pride Month but never looked them up (sorry!). I like the way you package so much info in 2 minutes. And the unicorn ending! 👌🏻 I was looking forward to that part!! 😍

He is my favorite political commentator.

For those who don't know, John is publishing a book this August called "The Separation of Church and Hate" if I remember correctly. It's on pre-order. 👍🏻

I wonder -- have we been taught to direct our frustration downward instead of upward? Like, instead of asking why wages are low or healthcare’s unaffordable, we’re encouraged to blame the immigrant or the neighbor on assistance. Who benefits from that distraction?

That question really hits hard. I’ve been thinking about it too -- when did hurting others start to feel like a victory? Do you think it’s partly because people are being told that compassion equals weakness, or that helping others somehow threatens their own security?

You’re welcome to claim a win -- I’ve moved on. Not every conversation is worth circling back to. It just means “I’m done” and am choosing peace over performance.

Understood. You’ve made your position clear. I’ll still let your latest post stand — I’ve already stepped away from this thread.

But here’s something I’ll leave you with: Have you ever stopped to ask who benefits most from keeping this kind of outrage burning?

No need to reply. Be well.

Your comment reminds me of that movie "Don't Look Up" ... same idea

It must be a sign from @godpod.bsky.social that you're doing God's work! 😊

At this point, you’re just tossing out new accusations faster than I can unpack the last batch. That’s not conversation — it’s a monologue. Happy to engage in focused, good-faith dialogue, but I’m not here to play whack-a-mole. Take care.

If McCord signing a flawed FISA warrant disqualifies her from helping fix the system, does that mean no one involved in past failures can contribute to reform? Also, you mention Ray Epps — what exactly did he do that merited a harsher sentence? Or is it just assumed guilt by rumor?
