My old 35 mm film all had radiation spots -- like gamma ray damage -- or something, visible only after getting developed. Have you ever seen this?

A week long -- yes!

It's totally OK. I resisted coding with AI for some years now, but I had a tedious task that needed optimization and some finishing, and there was no glory to be had in coding it. Well, you know where this is going . . .

Nicely said. In fact, no one can say what anyone else deserves. It's always disappointing to me when people start discussing this on social media: what another deserves. No one can know this and they derail the dialogue with that discussion. This situation is tragic enough. Thx for your thoughts

I agree. But you know I'll compromise if they just pick one and leave it alone forever. Very cool that would be.

So close! Global Response Outbreak Alert Network would have been GROAN. 😭😭😭😭

Can anyone clue me as details on what happened? Sorry it happened, this account will be missed.

"...down to the wording of the algorithm explanations." This is especially low, even for a long-term code-snagger like me, lol. When reasonable, I'll ack coders in my comments. But this is egregious. That said, no good advice on what to do, partly cuz i don't know u, if it's taking $$$ . . .

This is my guess (didn't check). I was thinking "something about the cache is to blame" but I could not articulate it to this level.
January 15, 2026 at 6:53 PM
I like your logic, but a & b should Not occupy the same address or Python is flawed, imo. (OK, new to Python and I didn't check the real answer)

We're all capable. It's always just a question of whether we will or not. It seems we're intensely selective about the application of justice for reasons that seem good to each one of us.

"I'm too high to actually shred right now" ... thought you were a little verbose, lol. Does that happen to you too? Get a little wordy when lit? I would say I fully understand this... this phenomenon (did I spell that rt? you konw you can't trust spell checkers anymore) Anyway, where was I now?
January 3, 2026 at 8:23 PM
OK, you're not wrong to bring this up. But let's hash this out: If we did get a lot more tax cash out of the wealthy, wouldn't we just squander it on all kinds of fraud, waste and abuse(FWA)? Seriously. I bet if we cut all the FWA, we'd discover there's actually enough to go around for everybody.

"Trill Will is a North American rapper ..." I like that because a lot of people say "American" and they forget that "American" might mean Canadian, Mexican, or Heaven knows, lol.

Excellent. Thanks again!

"'nums' is a reference." So, 'nums' only points at a memory location, rt?
January 2, 2026 at 5:48 PM
Thanks so much for your kind and explanatory reply. Do I understand that the lambda result will be preserved after the clear() action. (Of course, rt? Sorry, new to Python, old to C)
January 2, 2026 at 5:46 PM
Is there a way to preserve 'result' in a separate memory space (a copy) so that it doesn't clear when 'nums' is cleared?

Or everything I know is broken, lol
