For whatever reason, reporters weren’t allowed in to the dinner until after these comments were made. FedSoc convention normally very open to press but weirdly secretive when it comes to the big dinner.

As I spend my morning reading opinion after opinion I wish I’d been able to read yesterday, I’m reminded what a disservice it is to all of us for SCOTUS to operate this way. So many rulings so quickly makes it impossible for any of us to adequately understand them.

A subtle seeming change of position at Scotus. Two years ago, Barrett joined Kavanaugh in saying the court should consider whether the False Claims Act is unconstitutional. Kavanaugh repeated that view today. Barrett didn't join (though Thomas did).
