I mean, I have Max for the HBO content. Imagine being paid to work in marketing/branding or being the CEO of the company and not understanding the value of HBO. Almost like buying Twitter and rebranding it to look like some pornhub clone.

New leader right back to the culture war nonsense….

Dog whistling (some of it so overt can you even call it a dog whistle) about others has been such a big part of what the Libs do for so long. Seems like they spent so many years trying to win back Hanson voters. Good to see them finally punished for it and I'm hoping they rethink the rightwing drift

Nice colours and the light coming through the leaves looks very nice.

Looking on in sympathy for fellow gamers in the US who it appears will start to see USD prices edge closer to the AUD (Australian) prices I'm used to seeing (exchange rates and taxes being the issue here).

How much will my Switch 2 cost is one question, please don't look at PC hardware prices!!!

Off to complain, boycott and review bomb... oh wait.. no I don't really care.

Solid technical foundation for this game but the formula has grown stale for me (no real feeling of progression in the single player) didn't get nearly as much play time as 3 and 4.

I think the degree of trust in that giant is the deciding factor. I recall pretending to be asleep to get carried in from the car up into primary school age. Our three year old will sometimes wake briefly only to rest on my shoulder when she realises its just carry in time (nice for both of us)

Looking forward to seeing how switch games get enhanced on this. I have a couple of games to get back to and wondering how the experience might be improved on the sequel. Would love a simple PS4-PS5 level uplift in frame rates.

Not selling much, stopped manufacturing as much. From what I understand the X was always a much smaller portion of the series pie anyway right?

I think the anonymity, interface or distance allows people to behave in a way that most people just wouldn't do in person. Or potentially its just that the sort of people that would (in person) get amplified and energized by the attention. Block and ignore these people in life and online.

Honestly its a little reassuring to see people come to this conclusion before becoming too invested. I was always worried about my refuge from Twitter being a Meta platform (FB feed is ruined) and true to form they quickly ruined the feed on Threads. I want to see who I follow, is that so hard?

Bit like that in Bendigo too, peaceful sunny morning with barely a person to be seen on the street.

I bounced of Hades when I first tried to play it on gamepass and then with 2 coming out I tried again with a purchase on steam. 93.6 hours later I had finished the story and a bunch of achievements. You see all sorts of dialogue and events trigger based on random stuff, its a really fun ride.

Hmm I think I saw something about HLBC bank and money laundering while watching Homeland, I wonder if they are related?

Totally agree, was all there to communicate a vibe and setting. People seem to just want to hate things sometimes.

Thankfully the product placement take was far less toxic than some of the other ones.

Legacy dungeons were generally more enjoyable/memorable for me than the open world in Elden Ring but then I really enjoyed the sense of discovery in the open world the first time through. Elden Ring all the way for me but I get why some might prefer DS.

I must admit I keep watching reviews for this and people talk about it positively and looking at the gameplay I don't get it. But with this review and a number of others I trust I think I need to resub to game pass in the new year and give it a go.

Looks like a beast, assuming that its some kind of full frame lens? Hopefully it lives up to your expectations. I find with camera gear I research read and watch and sometimes the hype can make the real thing a slight disappointment but the things that have met or exceeded have been a joy.

I always dread heading into the Melbourne CBD when those bloody plame trees are dropping their fuzz every and there is the slightest bit of wind. Walking around my local burb I will cross the road if I see either mower or blower during the season.

I need more games news and personalities over here. I've followed so many of the hard news sources that my feed is a little unbalanced. Though I could just be a lot smarter about using the feeds (Google+ Circles are back!)

Seeing all the great coverage for this I went to steam this morning and was about to pull the trigger. Then I thought about the server issues (being a lot more popular than you planned for is a nice problem to have I guess) and realised I should resume/finish/start some of the great games I own.

I'm really interested to see how this one lands. The last good Indi games I can remember playing were on the C64 and Amiga (point and click or platformers).
