and discover is still kinda important bc it's. yknow. people's first impression of the site, even if everyone who's been here a while just goes "yeah unpin it", new users don't know that and just end up assuming bluesky is rubbish because of it. it is a shame 🥴

admittedly I joined the day after the election so that probably didnt help, but I kept the feed for months afterwards and nothiiiing changed. no amount of me not interacting with the posts made bsky switch up what they were showing me

I 100% agree and have been saying this (mostly to baffled responses) irl for years in response to people telling me to "do what I love". it's like there's something in my brain that's broken, and it works in theirs. or vice versa
