I hate that slang moves so fast that it goes from non-existent to contextless in one step (person invents a piece or slang, and the first people to hear it, use it without getting the context:

The moon has essentially no atmosphere. Sunlight that does not touch the moon has no way to get turned in or down towards the moon. Yet, sometimes the dark sides (not far side) of the moon are illuminated. Is that reflection of light reflected off of the earth’s surface?
