to add insult to injury, the creator of this graph didn't put reddit on the top row even though it has the greatest number of respondents who somewhat + strongly disapprove and the fewest who approve, and now I'm annoyed that the graph doesn't flow evenly from top to bottom

If you are run out of town, we will be able to rescue you by following your footprints. Because Columbus doesn't shovel its sidewalks.

Have a feeling everyone visiting Columbus for the games will instead remember seeing all the cars that Columbus drivers crashed into buildings

Oh no, I’m going that too, I wonder if we are canceling out each other’s efforts

Hilarious that this image has a credit line because 1.) it’s utter garbage, who would want to claim it, and 2.) ai images can’t be copyrighted

Thank you, Blue!! I refuse to get bifocals. Mainly because I don't want to pay for them when the other option is to simply take off my glasses

It was summarizing my work emails and getting basic facts wrong. They weren’t even long emails — maybe only 3 or 4 sentences

And because nothing motivates me more than spite, I spent a few hours this weekend deleting all those unread emails that were dumped into my inbox. Felt satisfying to do the thing google bet I would not do

I turned off smart features, which means the promotions & social inboxes disappeared and the 72,000 unread messages in them were dumped into my main inbox. I know google linked those features to the ai garbage so people wouldn’t want to turn it off. But I hated the ai overview so much.

I missed seeing the rehearsals. So much of what I like about the show is how it offers a peek backstage so we can see the process of putting a drag show together. We didn’t get the usual pre-runway werkroom banter among the queens either

I did not know that! Oh no, I'm about to go down a rabbit hole, I fear

I know exactly which episode this one is from!

I can see even red states refusing to cancel their elections. Trump failed to persuade the republicans in the Indiana statehouse to approve a new gerrymandered congressional map that would’ve eliminated the two democratic districts
January 8, 2026 at 5:39 PM
They can try I guess, but elections are run by the states. I’m skeptical states with democratic secretaries of state would roll over and let the trump administration do something like that

Thanks for your contribution, John. Meanwhile senior citizens wearing pajamas & crocs and moms pushing strollers are mobbing armed ice agents and chasing them out of their neighborhoods
