If you want to celebrate with me, I finally published my Halloween article yesterday and I'm incredibly proud of it :3

I also always love a good book if you've got any review copies you've been sitting on 🩷
As the dread day approaches and the spirits begin to stir, now is the perfect time to hunker down with a horror novel! 😈🗡️

This Halloween, TFR shares twelve chilling tales from transfemme authors to match the mood 🖤

A handcrafted rec list with a scariness rating for each book.

28 Weeks Later. The opening scene is tense and epic and nothing after comes anywhere close.

Makes sense. I enjoyed it whenever it came out and haven't seen it since. Rinko Kikuchi should have been the main character, honestly.

Those are quality Kaiju options. Pacific Rim: Uprising does exist. I watched it a while ago and thought it was pretty good.

I will note that while Elon appears to be wearing a bulletproof and stabproof vest, the toddler Musk carries around as a human shield is not protected. Which would say a lot about Elon's priorities.

The final vote: 51-45, with 4 people absent.

CLOTURE FAILS, A CONGRESSIONAL SPORTS BAN WILL NOT HAPPEN.

Democrats hold firm, not a single dem voted for cloture.

MAJOR victory for everyone who called in today and this week in support of trans people.
