“All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
Retired Seattle lawyer/exec director. Was hoping to spend retirement doing anything other than this. Married 🏳️‍🌈, bad ☸️, fly fisher, photographer, stolen bike ninja, dog wrangler.
So they spent “two hours or whatever” surveilling the scene and then decided to bomb the survivors again. This just keeps getting worse.

I also remember how shocked he was that he lived so long - and had to deal with all those credit card bills. I didn’t know Terry very well but Paul was quite the character - in the best way. I only knew the activist side so thank you for posting this and giving me a glimpse of the rest of his life.

I have been saying this since CU was decided. Corporations are creations of the state. States can & do regulate what powers they have… and don’t have. We have the power to negate the impact of CU by amending our state corporations laws. @murray.senate.gov @governorferguson.bsky.social

I’ve eaten a few but Costco didn’t raise the price of their hotdog & soda special, & they’ve eaten a lot of the other tariff price increases. I expect that if they prevail, they will do something to pay back members, maybe an extra rebate. Costco is one of the last truly customer focused companies.

I was involved with Seattle’s Gay & Lesbian Commission. I remember Paul and Terry. If I remember correctly Paul was active with Act Up. He kind of made my life as a bureacraft hell but I admired his passion and commitment. Thank you for posting this remembrance.

This is the most cynical pardon. The most outrageous pardon was that of the Jan. 6 insurrectionists.

Quite: “Steven Miller is not compatible with Civilization.“ We could say that about every single member of this administration. These people are completely untrustworthy, have repulsive values and vile ambitions. How is the media continuing to “both sides” this destruction of our democracy.

That looks beautiful and delicious! Happy Thanksgiving.

Revenge is a more appropriate term.

And thousands of people liked his post. We have a crisis of literacy.

If they hate Johnson that much they could vote with Dems to get rid of him but their cowardice is greater than their self respect, their hatred or their sense of duty to the country. Cowards one and all.

Well, that’s pretty presumptuous and weird - unless of course it’s the bathroom… 😬

I’m sorry but the government cannot “outsource” law enforcement actions. There is zero legal authority for this. But they’ll try it just like they’ve tried to illegally install their own federal prosecutors.

He needs to be disbarred.

Or how about this one - premiums for a family of four with two young children and annual income of $60,000 would see premiums go from $zero to over $800/mo with a $12,000 deductible before insurance pays anything. This is why Dems held out on the budget and what Republicans are doing to Americans.
November 25, 2025 at 5:00 AM
Or this - the cheapest insurance for a 50 yr old woman with two dependents aged 10 and 15 will increase from less than $100/m to nearly $500/mo with a $12,000 deductible before insurance pays anything.
November 25, 2025 at 5:00 AM
For a 55yr old woman, earning the median US annual income, the cheapest healthcare plan in Washington will increase from $105/mo to $625/mo for a policy with a $6,000(!) deductible.

Appreciate your legal work but somehow “breaking the internet” just doesn’t carry the same level of threat to most of us as it used to. Repeal §230 of the CDA.
November 25, 2025 at 3:54 AM
Repeal §230 of the CDA. Make online platforms responsible for their algorithms that spread disinformation and lies. Make online platforms verify users. Ban bots. We’re in an asymmetric information war and we are still going “Oh, but but the 1st Amendment, corporate profits and the internet.”

But did the CDC get it together to decide what flu strains to use for the vaccines? Hopefully it includes this one.
