“25th August 2017--Rohingya Genocîde Remembrance Day.” It has now been 8 years since the military junta & some Rakhine extremïsts, carried out genocïde against our Rohingya in the Arakan State. Yet, the world has failed to hold the perpetrators accountable & restore our rights.

Our Rohingya women& girls must be educated, empowered, & supported to protect themselves from all forms of exploitation & build better lives. To protect them from human trafficking, abuse & violence, our female volunteers are conducting vital awareness sessions with them in camp.

No matter what we have or where we're, we remain committed to our mission for our Rohingya children—growing up in the camps & facing an uncertain future—because they deserve hope. We firmly believe that education is the key to solving any problem, which is why we make it our top priority.

For over 70 years, the military junta & Rakhine extremists systematically worked to make Arakan, our ancestral land, free of Rohingya. During 2017 genocide, the Rakhine extremists actively collaborated with the military, & now AA is carrying out the final phase of this genocide.

A refugee child from a BGD refugee camp is playing with a hand-made bamboo toy car. He's pretending to load it with sandbags or plastic bags, like rice bags are loaded onto a real car. For the Rohingya child like him, only opportunities matter to do the unique things in their life.

A Grade-9 Rohingya refugee student spends his days doing homework in a small tent shop.With the modest profits he earns, he can occasionally afford textbooks & learning materials, but supporting his family in refugee life while pursuing education remains a constant struggle.

GRF welcomes the #Rohingya Genocide Accountability & Protection Act – stylized as the Rohingya GAP Act – would establish a “Special Coordinator for the Rohingya Atrocities Prevention and Response” within the #StateDept & provide an annual budget of $10 million for five years.

The Rohingya ppl in Arakan state need urgent protection 4 the safety & security of their life, as they're being targeted & killed by both military regime & Rakhine rebels(AA). Civilians must always be protected. To save the Rohingya from genocide, how many more have to be killed?
