Which is the article’s problem — it’s not particularly good journalism, I think.
And I do think it makes it significantly, materially better. One rids people of their livelihoods, the other gives a chance that some artist might accidentally get influenced by slop a bit.

Vincke said explicitly that they are currently hiring *more* concept artists, and all their concept art is original, imagined and drawn by hand by their concept artists.

In my experience, theory (at least in social sciences) is often taught as something not just authoritative, but immovable, inaccessible for any sort of novelty, innovation, or reinterpretation
