For the Google part, I did it by setting "g" as the shortcut in the browser's search engine settings, but TIL you can type !g before a query and ChatGPT search will automatically redirect you

The Chrome extension is chromewebstore.google.com/detail/chatg... but if it doesn't work, you can go to chrome://settings/searchEngines, click "Add" next to site search, paste chatgpt.com?q=%s&hints=s..., and set it as default (I've done the equivalent in Firefox)

I’ve been using ChatGPT Search as my default search engine on my web browser and it’s been nice (and then I’ve set it up so I can type “g <query>” if I want to quickly find a link)
