The SCIF trap idea makes a lot of sense….I missed that until you reposted it but I do remember them talking about that in the interview. Grusch is smart….avoiding the SCIF intentionally sounds plausible.

Ummm, AARO isn’t exactly known for communicating about their activities (you know this). Their last social media post was 3 years ago. I’m not about to email Sue and ask her. Maybe Greenewald will.

Maybe they weren’t in a SCIF (since Grusch still lacks clearances) but for him to say they both met with AARO, if the didn’t, seems like a weird thing to lie about. Are you thinking Weekend at Bernie’s scenario, where Grusch isn’t participating in any of the activities he’s said to be involved with?

Well, Burlison said he was with him in the SCIF and they met with AARO together. Is there reason to think Burlison would be lying about this? I mean besides the fact that he’s a politician ;)

But they did give a disclaimer at that point that they were getting into speculative territory and that what he was talking about in that second half was more his opinion. Disagreeing with his opinion/interpretation doesn’t necessarily reduce the validity of the facts he attested to before that.

Yeah - I will say I never knew there were so many ex-military with podcasts until everyone came out with an opinion on Livelsberger. It makes sense I guess - it’s a large community and you can retire after 20 years in, so you have a bunch of 40-year old retired guys with some time on their hands…

Well he wasn’t a marine. You mean ex-military in general, or are there a lot of ex-Marines with podcasts out there too (I can’t think of one but I’ve never looked for one either)?

Seriously. Do you know how to make a suggestion go away? I haven’t tried but it just occurred to me that could be an option. It keeps giving me one that I really don’t want to keep seeing (someone I had precisely one conversation with 3 years ago giving me the most tragic news I’d ever received).
