yes they threatened us on thursday night to throw the contract out on friday, which has all our protections in it. we had no choice. they even went to the effort yesterday of cancelling all accommodations for pregnant letter carriers. we cannot work like that without a contract.

it is in fact a total strike. management is stonewalling us at the bargaining table and are now laying striking workers off. they are torching the entire network that small biz relies on just to try to break the union.
