i think the crafting system from p3p should return. saving up all game so i could oneshot the last phase of the final boss with Armageddon felt like the culmination of my time in Tartarus

you were able to do both as recently as persona 2 and p3p. even yosuke had a scrapped romance in 4. the persona series weirdly got more regressive as it went on

Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey Redux is neat. The original Persona Q has a fantastic story and dungeon-crawling but I'm not sure if it counts
