Been deep in the editing for 3-4 days now... both nervous and excited for this video - especially considering its the first time I use this much movie content, and I don't necessarily have a feel for fair use yet - "transformative" feels broad and esoteric...

I know this is echoed into infinity at this point, but I would really love a Bloodborne Remake, hell, a Remaster would suffice - there are so many cool things to talk about in that game and its lovecraftian inspirations - but footage just looks so rough from the original now.

Reception of my last video has been wild! Was a bit nervous at first, when the first 48 hours looked like it was a dud - but changing the title helped tremendously.
Also people are just super encouraging and engaging in the comments - feels incredible!

New video out! This time, its about some of the creatures from the Dark Souls universe, who let their desires and devotions turn into monstrous obsession.

Watching the various Dark Souls intro cinematics, I'm always baffled - they're such a treat of their own kind of deep, dark fantasy.
Especially the Dark Souls 2 intro cinematic really hits the "hollowing" idea perfectly for me - slowly losing yourself to a purpose beyond yourself, decided by fate.

Watching the various Dark Souls intro cinematics, I'm always baffled - they're such a treat of their own kind of deep, dark fantasy.

Next video is coming along nicely - trying a bit of a different approach this time, where I do voice over and music before I edit any visuals - will see if I regret it once I have to fit my footage in there, but it feels great to establish the emotional arc in this way.
