Don't know about any boutique & SWE? but his rant against Sequential was very valid. Companies these days put out new gear that are buggy & low quality, intended to be used for a short time and discarded. This kind of mass consumption is not sustainable! We oldies care about the future and quality.

Absolutely! I got my first one in 1987. Now I have a second one and the D-05.

There is something so magical about the D-50 negative LCD display, that my mobile phone camera can not properly capture it. I remember when I got my D-50 in 1987 the LCD was something never seen before, as were the sounds.

Love it! I have two D-50s myself, and the D-05 and my V-Synth can also play D-50 patches.
