Today #godot v4.5 project export build and the floating window preview are rendering my papyrus uv bump and specular maps perfectly fine (???). I have not changed the shader, actually working on another area. I thought I smelt Nvidia subterfuge but that's ok too. Happy Friday y'all. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Shader textures correctly present in HTML5 export using built in webserver preview, regardless if the Game pane is set embedded or not. But the whole viewport is moved over by ~10%, whaaa...? 😵‍💫

So just the real game export or windowed are BROKEN.

Different results with embedded game pane vs the windowed preview vs exports in version 4.5?

Losing normal and specular map textures for a shader but only when the game is previewed outside of the embedded pane? 💢😩

Here was the tweak.

1. Lighten the background by decreasing 15% opacity with pure white below.
2. Increase Hue-Sat by saturation by only 25 master color levels.

👍

I really like the one with the diagonal too, its more dynamic compositionally, try these settings with it too.

OK, this is rant skeet.

Woke up early this morning excitedly thinking about the progress yesterday. Upon further review, that last four hours and the four before it was like, total trash. Straight to the bin with you! "Cartoony" is the ultimate insult for the classical realist. 😤

The texture source was a photo of the night's sky, literally stars in the galaxy and beyond into the universe with hue change, radial gradient, alpha transparency, etc. Xibalba, I did not recognize you! #thefountain #deathisadisease #goingforthbyday

Hey #godottips, remember: if you have a texture with normal and specular maps for lighting and result is just dark gray even with a light, your light's height is probably too low for the maps' generated height. 🌠
