If I was reading a review before/to decide if I wanted to read the book, I'd appreciate knowing context & important themes, and what if anything makes that specific book unique from others that explore those themes

I usually read book reviews after reading the book myself, and enjoy others' analysis to see what they thought/if it adds to my own analysis of the book :)
