Exactly! I asked my local Dems why there are no signs out to counter the ICE-friendly sheriff here. They said signs are only allowed 30 days before the election…well not countering those signs will cost.

Anyone running against Sheriff Harran? He’s blanketing the area with signs on most corners, with no push back: so I guess a Dem opponent has already lost? I keep expecting to see, “Reject Sheriff ICE, ICE Baby Harran” or “the ICE Man Cometh, Reject Sheriff Harran” but nada. No effort. Why??

Bucks County, PA sheriff Harran is trying to do the same by converting his staff to ICE agents. He’s up for re-election. The ICE man cometh? would be awesome counter election signs, if anyone was paying attention and actually making signs against him. (So far, no.)

That said, Nexstar and Sinclair-owned local stations won’t be showing Kimmel going forward because of their right-wing execs. That could be the bigger story here. I hope it’s a costly decision for them.

NY Times is really going after Mamdani today (9/22) ouch. Painting him as a flip-flopper re police (he’s not) and questioning universal child care issues, which some could see as extreme. It’ll be the reason if he loses.
