Very poignant. You can also see the bofors gun on the stern of PoW, which carried on in action after the other weapons lost power, because it was manually operated.

I've been paying £30/month too much for 2 years, so I've just had that refunded. I was paying for the privilege of being hooked up to fibre when it arrives. There is however no sign of that happening for the foreseeable so I've got rid of that too. Saved £45/month.

Sounds a plan! It's quite near Hemswell, which was a large bomber base and is now an excellent antiques centre. She likes it there. It's also very well preserved...

For some reason, the Cavalier was the only 70s car that didn't rust away to dust within 10 years... lovely looking, too.
