Irish news media: please clarify things like this, rather than joining in the kicking the current Government Minister for the Arts has decided to give the arts sector.
Here's where the journalists' and headline writers' decision to say it was a €120k "scanner" comes to the surface. Making you think of printers and other home peripherals. It is an *XRAY* scanner! Hugely specialised and valid. Insane they don't have one up and running already.
