Well we put up our California flag today. As I was hanging it up I hummed the song “California” by Joni Mitchell. Also putting up my Yes on 50 lawn sign once I get it. Just doing my part to make a statement (and to piss off a few neighbors).

Love that the 🍊💩 called Norway’s finance minister last month to ask about a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize (per The Guardian), and to discuss tariffs. Maybe he would lessen their tariffs for the prize. I know I keep saying, “I can’t believe this shit”, but WTF! Is there no end to this?

Saw The Naked Gun movie today with the grandkids. It’s was pretty funny and Liam Neeson did a great job of replicating the old schtick from previous Naked Gun movies. Just nice to get away from the shit world and laugh for a couple of hours.

Superman was awesome! Took my 13 and 16 year old grandkids to the movie. We saw in XD and it was amazing. They knew right away about the underlying theme of the movie. It was serious, funny, lots of action and I am a Punkrocker!

There are talks of a proposed bill by that bitch MTG, that would push up the census immediately to count only US citizens. The proposed bill would then direct states to begin redistricting all US House seats. This is unconstitutional, but this kind of insanity is coming at us at an alarming rate.

Just came home from a week on the coast in Elk, CA. Desperately needed this respite for the heart and soul. In CA we are are having strong winds, low humidity and extreme fire danger for a few days. Captured this video last night of the strong surf and winds pushing through.

Happy Fathers Day to my sweetheart. He took on the role of raising my daughters who are both very independent, loving, hard working citizens. I took him to the CA coast for a week to unwind. It’s been a tough couple of months. Night one dirty martinis, whiskey and the sound of the ocean.

With all the world shit going on, our sweet girl passed away yesterday, at home with my husband and I holding her. Napali was 13, a retired guide dog, and just the most loving and compassionate friend. Our hearts are broken.

Just took my 11 year, and 15 year old grandkids home after a 9 day break. Totally exhausted, but we had a blast. Sat down to watch Conclave with my husband tonight. What a great movie and WTF! I am late to
watching it, but what a really fascinating movie with lots of intrigue. Highly recommend.
