As a constituent, do something. The leadership seems impotent, words are not enough. Block everything this administration is doing. Whip votes against just like the other party did. Ask for hearings, resist. We cannot survive this without leadership. If you don’t provide it others will.

I’m much older and he electrified me. It wasn’t just knowing his generation — he is authentic. Haven’t heard that ring of authenticity in a long time. I think you got it, we don’t vote for policies, because things can change. We vote for people.

Well, in our house we use that on everything — like grilled cheese sandwiches, extra oomph to a western or Chinese dish. There is always more juice than mangoes so we end up with bottles of it.

When I hear men worshipping guns and talking about how there’s nothing that will stop them from defending their family, my mind goes to Naaman in the Bible. Do you remember Naaman? He was a great military leader, and he also had leprosy.
