Ahhh, I'm currently living in a place with no Japanese restaurants for over an hours drive but grew up eating great ramen in some very authentic places. One little place made the noodles in the window of the restaurant.

Actually, the best store ramen is Nissan Raoh. The noodles aren't deep fried. Not that I hate deep fried noodles but they taste completely different from actual noodles. Kinda expensive at $2.68 at wally's and $3.50 and up at every other store. In 2020 they cost just $1.25.
