Platonic love/deep friendship has been a thing for Digimon since the beginning. Not to say there are no stories from Digimon that don't tackle romantic love. But--yall are so weird for this. "Isn't that her brother?" Kinda. Regardless YES which is why it's TREATED like FAMILIAL love not romantic.
