Finished Klonoa: Dream Champ Tournament 3/29/2025
This game does some things much better and worse than the og. It has better level variety, aesthetics, and is overall faster paced. On the other hand, it expects a lot more perfection out of you with a lame ranking system. Still a decent time. 7/10

Finished Klonoa: Empire of Dreams 3/19/2025
A surprisingly good supplement to the Klonoa franchise. A very laid back puzzle platformer thats a breeze to get through. Some puzzles take some time to solve, but its just a nice game to play to relax. Had a very cute story too. 7.5/10

Finished Adventures of Lolo 2 3/21/2025
I'm very conflicted with this sequel honestly. Its has lots of the same charm the original has, my biggest issue is the difficulty. I like a good challenge and all, but a lot of solutions are unexplained mechanics or just annoying. 6.5/10

Finished Adventures of Lolo 3/8/2025
This one really surprised me, its a deceptively simple puzzle game that slowly stacks its mechanics like jenga blocks over the course of the game. Lots of thinkers in this one and has become one of my favorite puzzle games for how unique it is. 8/10

Finished Gargoyle's Quest 2/28/25
Though I feel the first game had better usage of the powers and overall progression, I absolutely loved the presentation of this game. The environments are very vibrant with striking color palettes. Also a bit tougher than the gb one 7/10

Finished Kirby NIDL 2/27/25
I've played the og, but never this remake and it was a pretty solid time. Loved its simplicity and all the challenge of the post-game content. (hardest meta knight fight of all time WOW) Its short length make it super replayable! Abilities are a mixed bag tho 6.5 or 7/10

Finished Gargoyle's Quest 2/20/25
Been getting back into handheld gaming with my 2dsxl and decided to try this out. I really liked the structure of this game with it starting out difficult but slowly growing more powerful overtime. The mixture of an rpg and platforming was very unique. 6.5/10

Depends. If were only going off Gamecube versions only, Luigi's Mansion for sure. But if any version is on the table, wii port of Pikmin easily. Both are compact and unique games, but I always go back to Pikmin. Nothing is more satisfying than trying to finish that game as fast as possible.

Finished Kirby Star Allies 2/19/25
idk why, but after finishing Forgotten Land, I wanted to see if my mind could be changed with Star Allies...it didn't work. Probably the most bland kirby to date, uninteresting gimmick and level design with no personality. Feels like a parody of a kirby game. 5/10

Finished Kirby ATFL 2/18/2025
I was worried that I wouldn't like it as much the second time around, but im happy to say this game is still amazing. I appreciate how close to its roots it stuck while introducing so many unique elements that I hope stick around. In my top 5 Kirby games for sure. 8/10

Finished LOK: Defiance 1/21/2025
with the remasters coming out, i figured it was finally time to play this one and im very mixed honestly. The game is extremely repetative and the story after the first hour or two was kinda losing me. Luckily the last third of the game makes up for all of it. 6.5/10

Whenever I replay DKCR I have a fun time, but nothing from the game really sticks with me afterward. DKC:TF, for me, is a more memorable experience thanks to its amazing music and cool aesthetics that translate into fun level mechanics. (I do really love how DK controls in both of these games tho)

Finished Jusant 1/10/2025
Wow...AGAIN! I'm sucker for simple puzzle/adventure games, but man this one REALLY stands out. They turned the seemingly boring afterthought mechanic of climbing into an surprisingly engaging experience. Gives a lot of Team Ico/GenDesign vibes in the best way. 8/10
