September is a bittersweet month. My cousin and I both have sons born at the end of the month. Hers the 23rd, mine the 28th. Mine will be 21 this year, a milestone year, he's "legal" now! Hers will be forever 15, he made a choice that leaves a forever void he used to fill with laughter.

I went to high school in Camden County, Georgia. I loved this place and was very sad when it closed up.

My father-in-law, Virgil Lee Scott, was drafted into Vietnam and was injured. He passed away in October of '22.
