Skippers on one of the few rising, I heard on a podcast. Makes me wonder if one of their main predators is down or if they can make use of non-native grasses or.... Best guess?

Third spring, so I'll hold happy thoughts for you.
The Haven is a reclaimed urbany-lot, so everything is planted as small whips since I cannot dig a big hole (and can only dig small ones with a rock pick). All that seems hopeful, to me, of your plants blooming this year. 🤞
