I would think looking at emissions over the lifetime of a government is a bad metric. It's a bit like turning a ship - will take time to see change.

I basically agree with almost everything in the piece, although think that
(1) Emissions are dropping, and the article undersells this progress www.epa.ie/news-release...
(2) The ones voting and transferring green last time are more likely to have shifted for other reasons (e.g. housing)
