I’m MisterGizmo at the other place. Still a curmudgeon, though.
Also since Reagan, the gap between the haves and the have-nots has accelerated markedly. Thanks, Ronnie.

My own big disagreement is with privately run detention and prison facilities. As with healthcare, they make their money by short-changing essential services.

Pot. Kettle. You know the rest.

Oh, *come on* CBS. You can do better than that.

I moved to Virginia in the late 1960s. It’s been interesting to watch its transition from red to purple as the urban areas grew large enough to challenge the rural vote.

Bless them. ❤️ And the words you’ll never hear them utter are “suckers and losers.”

Of course it’s a business. Remember, Trump ran on being a businessman. He just neglected to tell us what kind of business he’d run, and that he himself would make money from it.

And don’t get me started on his side-hustle of pardons.

The cynic in me says he was crying because he figured he was going to jail, not because a woman died from his carelessness.

So from now on it’s the Donald J Trump executive mansion, which includes the Jeffrey Epstein ballroom and massage parlor. Future presidents will have to pay Trump rent to live and work there. It’s capitalism, baby.

Love it! Not that she’ll respond, but it’s a good way to get this kind of thing into the public record.

I like the sponsorship aspect to it! 😉

Almost. The Confederate States of Trump would work, and actually have some validity behind it.

A single toilet “third bathroom” has been a benefit in a lot of ways. Started out as a “family bathroom,” but turns out to have other uses as well.

Which is why I’m no fan of Youngkin. But he has continued support, if not increased it, to the existing program of increasing internet access in rural areas. Of course, he took credit for it despite it not being his initiative to start with. 😉
December 30, 2025 at 1:25 PM
Pretty much. 😉

I’m not a fan of Youngkin, but he’s not a far right MAGA, and he has continued support for existing progressive programs. He’d be a huge improvement over Noem. And AFAIK he doesn’t shoot puppies.

Definitely one for the history books.

A Trump class drone would be more believable. Unfortunately it would cost $1B each for the non-recoverable version.

Next up: The Donald J Trump Lincoln Memorial.

New inscription: “If Donald Trump had been President, there would not have been a Civil War.”

Did the performer who backed out sign a contract with the JFK center? It no longer exists, right? It’s now the DJT JFK center. 😉

(Yeah, I know. But I can dream.)

Does that include any foreign untraceable crypto currency that might come in over the transom?
December 28, 2025 at 1:55 AM
Kinda. But it seems like well more than half the links I click on lead to a paywall or to a jumble of pop-up ads that keep you from reading the content (if there even is any real content). So I pretty much don’t stray from the initial posts.

Agree, and it’s something I’ve wondered about. But “de-Trumpification” does have a nice ring to it.

Meanwhile, we’re supposed to be much more worried about a transgender person being there.
