This raises significant failings by the police and by those schools who were content to wash their hands of this violent boy. Head teachers of those schools and the police need to be held to account for their negligence in dealing with him. Heads should roll.

What has never been addressed is the conspiracy within BTP to cover up and shield Ridgewell. BTP need to come clean and name the senior officers who protected and enabled him.
