I have an Australian cattle dog, Ripley. It's her job to break up cat fights. Whenever she hears the cats hissing at each other, she runs in, sticks her head between them, and barks at each to break it up. I always expect the cats to start slapping at her, but, oddly, they respect her authority.

I've found that most of the new inhalers get clogged up and stop working before they're empty, even if you follow the instructions to rinse them out (including two of the three shown). I don't remember that being a problem when I was younger.

That said, offering help to those who want it is fantastic.

This may sound harsh, and may be an unpopular opinion, but if I had the mental faculties to do so, I would choose suicide. I'm the primary caregiver for my wife, who has Lewy body dementia. After seeing the hell that she is living, I just don't want that experience or to put others through it.

Younger people don’t understand.

The average total healthcare spending in the last 5 years of life was $287,038 in patients with dementia. This is about $58,000 per year. This is a tremendous burden on American families. ☹️

The Empire Strikes First - Bad Religion (2004)
The War on Errorism - NOFX (2003)

They were the perfect punk responses to the Bush years, and I love nearly every song on both.

Thanks for the history. My stepmother used to buy and sell Longaberger baskets, and I have three of the exceptionally well-made baskets around the house.
