cycle of life. oil, electricity, and then death. oil, born by earth, electricity that keep things running, and death of those, who involuntarily laid their lives for all of this to happen. i drew inspiration from one of vorkuta's labour camp graveyard i had visited in 2018.

the text says "the borders of russia yet hadn't ended", some sort of mockery on "the borders of russia is ending nowhere". it pretty much sums up the meaning behind first two pieces.

this one was in april of 2022, when i fully realized that war has started. the course of life completely changed. this was the first time i was forced to face my lack of control over my own being, and the world suddenly felt unfamiliar. line imagined in the past had been broken violently.

first time, i did red sun only as some aestethic feature. then, as time went, it shaped itself into some sort of symbol of looming threat. this one was first picture i made that way. it was a way to express my sorrow over lives lost to a land no one needs or cares about.
