Yeah I totally get that. I will say, out of anything to sweep, I’m glad it was a really good indie game with a loving and passionate team behind it

I was hoping Ghosts of Yotei would win something too. As much as I love Clair Obscur, Yotei deserved something

I want the Nintendo that cared, at least a little more, about the consumer and bettering the industry. I want to be able to be proud about being a Nintendo fan. I want to enjoy games for franchises that I love and care for. That’s all. 7/7

I don’t want Nintendo as a whole to fail because at the end of the day I am still a fan. I just really really really hope that they get a wake up call and remember that they used to be about making good games even if the systems weren’t the best at the time and that the money was secondary. 6/7

I’ve also been seeing stuff on how the information Nintendo has been putting out about sales and whatnot aren’t actual sales to customers, but sales to retailers and also just seeing how available the Switch 2 is in stores near me fills me with some hope that they might get what they deserve. 5/7

Seeing the amount of game key cards being forced out by Nintendo (whether the reasoning being legitimate or not) is so frustrating. Knowing that at any point Nintendo can just decide those games can’t be played anymore is heartbreaking, especially having my partner being a game dev. 4/7

Ever since I’ve had a PC and used Steam I’ve been on board with digital games, but as time has gone on with more developers/companies ending support for games/services making them unplayable I’ve been drifting more towards physical games, at least with my consoles. 3/7

The only exception to this that I’ve seen so far is Kirby Air Riders (which isn’t even out and I’m biased about) and maybe Donkey Kong Bananza, but I can’t really speak on that since I haven’t played it (obviously) and I haven’t watched anyone play it. It looks like Odyssey w/ more stuff I like. 2/7
