Progressive middle-aged, Southern, white woman trying to squash my inner Karen. Open to opinions except for changing the 2 spaces after a period rule.
Last year’s Christmas present was $25,000 of plumbing repairs.

I just made Xmas Eve reservations at a nice restaurant for my entire family so I don’t have to create Xmas food magic. To 🔥 with the cost! 😂😭

It is definitely my least favorite holiday and we have pared back on gift exchange and fancy food. I love Mardi Gras because it doesn’t place demands on me.

I was a Target cashier in the 80’s and we would have every register open with 20 people or more in each line.

I strongly recommend Credit Unions. I use EPIC (formerly GNO). Multiple free ATMs, including Capital One, & shared branch network to facilitate transactions in different locations.

Google or YouTube can show you the easiest way. I lay the cover inside out, open at top. Then lay the duvet on top of it and roll whole thing from the bottom. The next step is harder to explain, but once you see a video it makes sense.

One of the main reasons we get a turkey or turducken from Gourmet Butcher Block. No bones!

I would love to see NOPD directing traffic at my neighborhood school. These stupid parents are going to run over a child one day. Ticket/towing revenue for my street alone could help close the city budget gap.

Also interested in the answers. When it’s my turn to cook, I always get a turducken from Gourmet Butcher Block. Zero prep, easy cooking instructions, and no bones to carve around.

Me, too! I’ve probably saved more than the scammers would have stolen.

Still can’t stand the music my parents listened to and I’m pushing retirement age. Also not a fan of the music my adult children prefer. Isn’t this the correct order of things?

It was sweet of them to call it a “justice center.”

My CFO doesn’t believe in rounding so I spend an inordinate amount of time accounting for pennies. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I know what a yellow blinking light means, but I also know that no one else does. I also don’t trust that the light going the other way is set correctly. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have the name of an excellent couples counselor if you are interested.

A random tomato plant popped up in my front yard. (Very little grass due to plumbing work.)

An older woman sitting next to me at the theatre had 2 phones that she could not keep her hands off of. It was distracting, but at least on dark mode. I didn’t say anything because it appeared to be compulsive & may have been the only way she could sit through a performance.
