If I signed up for these messages, I’ll know who it’s from and allow it. What this really means is they can’t shop their lists around and sell them/share them with groups I don’t know or care about. This is just taking some small shred of my peace back during election season. #StopPoliticalSpam

It’s about time someone stopped the deluge of spam texts, and yes, that’s what they are. This isn’t “blocking campaigns”, it’s stopping unwanted messages. Just use the same number to short code and tell your supporters to add it to their address book, or tap on known sender. #SorryNotSorry
Apple's iOS 26 text filters could cost political campaigns millions of dollars, top GOP group warns
"That change has profound implications for our ability to fundraise, mobilize voters, and run digital campaigns," reads a memo from a GOP group.

Starting a new hobby. The 3-D printer is set up and part way through the first print. Decided on a glow in the dark plant pot. It’s a fun little first item to make.

Ours just arrived today (US Customs always takes a while), and these are amazing! The floral notes are divine, just need to find the right tea to pair with them! We’re already getting our next order together.

🌸 Just a few weeks of spring left… 🌸

Our Sakura Cherry Blossom Chocolates are nearly ready to drift away too. Delicate cherry blossom ganache in a ruby chocolate shell, this limited edition won’t last much longer.

Catch it before it vanishes like the last petals on the wind. 🍫

It’s psychology, more particularly, intimidation. Seeing that onsite won’t stop a dedicated protestor, but someone that’s caught off-guard by its presence may give up.

While the vehicle looks “scary”, sonic and ultrasonic weapons (and their after-effects) can be quite nasty to encounter unawares.

Just walking around the garden and seeing what all is growing. As the sun started to set, it was neat to see all the fireflies around. #gardens

The article doesn't really address the fact that Claude is only mimicking behaviors in its training data set.

Still, it's a great highlight of how quickly dystopian fiction in a training data set can become dystopian reality when AI agents are given too much access.
