No, it stands for fundraising to win elections and hold majorities with which to accomplish Jack Shit.

They're really good at it from lots of practice.

The only thing that remains to be seen is just how huge.

Democrats had won the narrative to blame Republicans for the shutdown. These eight have flushed that story down the toilet.

Now, it will appear to the avg. voter that Democrats shut the government down out of spite, not for any principle.

Truth!

I think you meant to say 8 Democrats proved themselves to be on the side of Oligarchs and Facsists starving and stealing the livelihoods of the American people.

If you vote with Nazis, you are a Nazi. Full. Stop.

It will take a different party than the DEMOCRATIC party to accomplish these goals.
November 10, 2025 at 3:27 AM
BULLSHIT!
November 10, 2025 at 3:25 AM
I love this list, but the friendly, moderate Dems just exchanged ALL their leverage and political capital for NOTHING!

Well, that's not exactly true. They have received “assurances”from a party of LIARS.
November 10, 2025 at 3:24 AM
Ok. Let’s cull hard!

That will leave a couple of Dem Socialists and a well know Dem Socialist Independent.

It will be a substantial rebuild.

This 👆

American friends, we must move past these two parties who continually betray the sovereign will of We The People.

Those fired can still fight for this country by speaking out in strong condemnation now!

Makes one wonder why anybody would have thought to off the UH CEO, huh?
November 8, 2025 at 10:33 PM
Nobody, but nobody does gallows humor like Vonnegut.

Try Cats Cradle and Player Piano, too.

Brilliant critiques of American cultural and socio-economic atrocities.

I figured Bill would suggest all SNAP recipients just book a dinner with Trump to learn what a nice guy he is off camera.

Where were Elon and Little Dick, er, Big Balls?
November 8, 2025 at 9:01 PM
Also, gotta love what he wrote about being alienated by reading Foucault (and not by paying rent, etc.).
November 8, 2025 at 8:44 PM
I can see the comparison. Just needed some grammatical (usage) critiques and a few endnotes, right?
November 8, 2025 at 8:41 PM
Amazing piece of writing revealing the pretentious veneer of “critics say” legitimacy fueling the death rattle of NYT ‘journalism.’

Extreme inequality is a problem, but it is not THE PROBLEM.

Extreme inequality coexistent with poverty (homelessness, food insecurity, no access to quality healthcare, etc.), that is THE PROBLEM!

We cannot allow billionaires while there remain unhoused, sick, and hungry in our society.
