2025 has started off as a year of cursed gaming for me, with it only being 3 weeks in. Stopped one game due to bad story/characters, and a second game due to an item that needs to spawn in to continue the story. Not spawning, even after restarting. Surely the other 49 weeks can only go up, right?

Finished Cassette Beasts yesterday. Probably going to be in my Top 3 best games I've beaten this year. A fun, monster/beast collection game with a good soundtrack. An easy recommendation to people, and was on 45% discount during Steam Autumn sale. Winter sale isn't too far away as well

Another goal achieved this year, won a tournament in a game last night. Time to update my gaming goals for next year

Without saying spoilers for Arcane, my favourite episode for season two was episode 7

Beaten my 20th game for this year, called Jack Move. A relatively short RPG that takes roughly 6 hours to beat. Pretty fun, but could only recommend to people when it's on sale otherwise it's too pricey. Also final boss can beaten quickly compared to what steam reviews say. Love a cheese strategy

My start to the day has been. Waking up and about a minute later 2 shelves above the bed fall from a bracket failing. Caught/deflected the bracket to avoid a screw to the eye as I was still laid in bed. But 7 items from the shelves broken/damaged. And that's how to survived another Monday I guess
