Warrior's restricted free agent, Taran Armstrong, signed with Dubai Basketball today on a two-year deal with an NBA-exit clause next summer.

The Warriors have a two-way qualifying offer out to him and will maintain his RFA rights. Same situation as Nico Mannion.

A look at the different Kuminga frameworks reported over the summer.

Compared to the Warriors' initial 2yr/$45M offer, Kuminga eventually signed for $1.7M more ($800k of which guaranteed) plus a 15% trade kicker, that if traded, could net him about $1.3M-1.7M more.

I think they likely promised Horford and Melton pay increases through the NTMLE if JK took the QO, so they wouldn't have had space for GP2 on a TPE type deal.

I also think they don't really believe JK takes the QO.

The Warriors are bringing in Ja'Vier Francis on an Exhibit 10 per Anthony Slater.

Francis will occupy one of Santa Cruz's four affiliate spots along with LJ Cryer, Chance McMillian, and Jacksen Moni.

Francis played for the Warriors this past Summer League and was college teammates with Cryer.

Armstrong would remain an NBA RFA for the Warriors as long as they continued to submit a qualifying offer for him each off-season (something they've been doing with 2020 draft pick, Nico Mannion, since he left overseas in 2021).

The QO would remain a two-way contract offer.

Following the Warriors' latest offer to Jonathan Kuminga (where they wouldn't be able to roster a 15th standard deal), there was speculation as to how the two-ways would look with rookies Will Richard & Alex Toohey, incumbent Jackson Rowe, and Armstrong all vying for 3 spots.

This solves it.

Reporting out of Serbia: Warriors' restricted free agent, Taran Amrstrong, is reportedly in advanced talks to join KK Partizan just days before NBA training camp tips off.

The Warriors have had a Two-Way qualifying offer out to Armstrong, who joined the team from Australia last February.

Gui Santos's $2.2M contract guaranteed for $225k today. It will fully guarantee on the league-wide cut-off date of January 10th.

Santos will become a restricted free agent next offseason with full Bird Rights.

He's also extension eligible starting October 1st.

Key is coming off a phenomenal G League DPOY-winning season, which earned him a two-way deal followed by a standard contract conversion with Golden State.
